Vanguarda Architects was founded in 1991 by the architect Alejandro F. Amoedo, General Director of the firm and Hernán E. Montes de Oca, Project Manager in residential works, with main offices in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

In 1998, the architect Lucas D´Adamo Baumann joined the firm and later became partner, main designer and director of the Project Area.

In 2002, the architect Rodrigo E. Román started working at Vanguarda Architects and gained a vast experience by managing works of various scales until he became a partner of the firm in 2005, working as Project Manager of business and corporate buildings.

Finally, in 2004, after his studies of Civil Engineering at the National Technological University (Universidad Tecnológica Nacional), Luis Brazzola joined the firm as partner and Project Manager in industrial buildings.

This strategic division allows the firm to meet the particular needs of every client and the challenges posed by projects of different themes and scales.
